My Name is Yael Weiser Aviram. I am a licensed physiotherapist with more than 15 years of experience in neurological rehabilitation. 

 

I was fortunate to practice for several years in one of the largest and most comprehensive rehabilitation centers in the world (The Loewenstein Rehabilitation Hospital), where I gained important and innovative skills and knowledge in the field of neurological rehab, treating conditions such as - 

• Stroke

• Spinal Cord Injuries

• Multiple Sclerosis

• Guillain Barre syndrome

• Muscular dystrophy

• Head trauma

• Brain surgeries

• and more

 

I also had my own practice, in which I provided professional physiotherapy services, evidence-based, attentive and creative care.

Since 2017, I have been practicing in Toronto, where I continued to provide physiotherapy services, met new colleagues, and gained and enhanced skills and knowledge.

​

Throughout the years, I expanded my interest in other practice areas. I am a certified Manual Lymph Drainage therapist, providing treatment for different lymphatic conditions such as primary and secondary lymph-edema, headaches, cosmetic procedures, post-operative treatments, orthopedic injuries, swelling caused by injury or surgery and more.

I am also experienced in providing Facial Nerve Palsy treatment and education for clients who were diagnosed with Bell's Palsy, Ramsay-Hunt syndrome, lesions or other different conditions.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling and listening to music.

I'm also coaching an amazing group of women in a game called Catchball - who always teach me that age has no limits!
